On one end of the pen is a spoolie, and the other end has a super-fine brow marker that can create hair-like lines. But best of all, under the spoolie is an angled pencil that helps precisely create the shape of your eyebrow with expert precision. This pen allows you to add thickness, color, and depth all with one pencil. Of course, unfortunately,  it doesn’t house a growth formula to condition your brows like Liaison’s Microbabe Blade Pen and comes at a high price. But all in the name of beauty…

Our favorite thing about Rhianna’s line of brow pencils is the amount of shade colorings it offers. Unlike many of its competitors, Fenty offers almost twice as many shades. This makes it a great tool for almost any woman. However, in terms of effectiveness, it’s a pretty mid-range product. We’d only recommend this to those who really need that special shade, and even then, look toward a second product like Liaison’s Microbabe Blade Pen for better, lasting fullness.

Hourglass uses a wax tip for their sculpting pencil which offers an easier way to shape your eyebrows. The flat end lets you fill in the larger areas of your brow while the pencil tips help create the hair-like lines for the ultimate fullness. We love this product although it is on the pricey side, so beware.

While we feel we recommended some great eyebrow pencils for fuller, darker brows, we believe Liaison's product was the top choice. We wanted to talk further with our investigative reporter Stephanie Marianne who helped create the rankings list and how Liaison’s Microbabe Blade Pen worked for her. Stephanie tells the story.

Personally, I never believed in the effectiveness of eyebrow pencils and growth serums. There’s a lot of brands out there claiming they give you perfect, fuller brows, but most don’t even come close.
